Bucky McSwensen Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 These have a lighter and dryer wrapper than some of the 2018 boxes I have. Really been enjoying and typically hand these out to new to cuban smokers. Bold, earth, no wood at all, stout flavors and a bit of citrus honey. No crazy evolution, just a constant delivery of rich robust bolivar flavors. Burn is doing just fine with some minor self correcting wonkiness at the midpoint. I get a touch of cream and a very subtle woodiness. Finishes off with a slightly sour lemon and nutty earth. I love these things. I value this at 15 bucks. Cost Ratio - 1.81 Cuba Ratio - 1.96 Comparison: Glad I stocked up at cheaper buys as these are greatly undervalued. Been smoking through these like a fiend and am upset that if I keep this up I will never be able to age my own. I really want to age these to recreate the 98 version experience but I just cant justify turning them down when they are this good already. I have had a few others from 2014 so I know where they will be in 5 years (roughly) excited to keep enjoying these as the develop. 1
